MCP access (external agents)
Expose ELRIC to Hermes, Comex, Claude Code… over the MCP protocol.
ELRIC is also an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). Your other AI agents (Hermes, Comex, Claude Code, n8n…) can reach into your ELRIC workspace — memory, Vault, tasks, agents, and action execution — in a governed way.
Two ways to connect
| Transport | URL / target | For |
|---|---|---|
| Remote (HTTP) | https://www.elric-ia.com/api/mcp | Cloud clients: Hermes, Comex, n8n… No install. |
| Local (stdio) | repo's mcp/ binary | Local clients: Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop. |
Use the www host (
www.elric-ia.com). The apex redirects, and some clients drop the auth header across a redirect.Generate a token
- 1Settings → MCP access (or AI Agents → *External agents · MCP*). Managers only.
- 2Pick a name and the permissions (read-only recommended to start).
- 3Copy the token once — it won't be shown again.
- 4In your client, add the remote URL with the
Authorization: Bearer <token>header.
bash
curl -s https://www.elric-ia.com/api/mcp \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'Available scopes: memory:read, memory:write, vault:read, tasks:read, tasks:write, agents:read, actions:run. A token can be revoked anytime.
